Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Leaders Book iOS application and the leadersbook.jimdoes.it website, operated by Jim Does It. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

1. What Leaders Book is

Leaders Book is a personnel tracking and coordination tool for unit leaders: rosters, check-ins, trackers, calendars, and a unit feed. It is an independent product. It is not an official U.S. Army or Department of Defense system, is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Army or DoD, and is not a system of record.

2. Prohibited content

No full Social Security Numbers.
No full DoD ID numbers. The last four digits only, where the field exists.
No classified information or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
No operational plans or other sensitive traffic. Leaders Book is not a secure or encrypted communications channel.
No content that is unlawful, harassing, or that you lack the right to share.

We may suspend accounts or remove content that violates these rules.

3. Your responsibilities

Enter other people's information only as your leadership role and applicable regulations permit. Participation by your Soldiers is consensual.
Keep your login credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Comply with your own organization's policies about unofficial tools.

4. Your data and control

Your organization's data belongs to your organization. Owners can hand the book to a new leader, export it, or delete it permanently. You can delete your account at any time inside the app. Inactive accounts and organizations may be deleted after 180 days. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Beta software

During the beta, the app is provided free of charge and may change, break, or lose data. Keep independent records of anything mission critical. Feedback you submit may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

6. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jim Does It is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from use of the app. Nothing in the app is legal, medical, or official military guidance.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
